Okiesss long post so take a deep breath…
Well heyllo there!
I had a blast today as I was coming home from school today x]
It all started on the Corinda service train…now it’s always fun but today QR (Queensland Rail) were fixing this railway line at Yeerongpilly station so the train was delayed for about 10 minutes. Gah, I don’t know whether it was the guarana energy drink or the hilarious state of Coleman’s hairy legs XDDD but we started playing children games on the train, like Concentration (elimination starting now 11-22, 22-11 ^_^) and Bang Zip Boing (haha too long to explain). But then the train started to move which I thought would be the end of our “shenanigans” but turns out that instead of going to Corinda as planned, it stopped one station early at Tennyson. Which if any of you know, is ages away from anywhereeeeeeeeee. It’s one of those suburbs that looks as if someone could be murdered there spookyyyy. So as we got off the train my friends Evelyn, Coleman, Jade, Anna and Jess and probably about 50 other people from our school, were in quite a pickle as what to do. We passed the first bus station and would’ve have caught a bus…if it weren’t for Coleman.
Coleman: No come on lets go to the next stop, this bus is gonna take ages to come
Me: Fine then, I’m trusting you Coleman, you better know where you’re going.
By this time, about 10 people had caught a lift from their parents including Jess (traitor >.<). After that, we reached the next stop which we would have stopped except for…
Coleman: Hey let’s just walk to Corinda.
Me: How far away is that?
Coleman: Not far, it’s really close
Evelyn: NO it’s not! iTS ages away!
Jade + Anna: Come on let’s go.
Evelyn: Lemme borrow your phone, I’ll get my mum to catch you a lift.
Now this, I had one of two choices: stay with Evelyn and catch a lift or walk with the others. I chose walking and soon after, evelyn came and joined us as well. Haha, don’t think I’m crazy, but I thought it was quite an adventure! So as we’re walking along…
Coleman: Why don’t we go to Graceville station instead?
Me: Is it closer?
Coleman: Yea heaps! It’s like only 5 minutes away.
Evelyn: LIAR! It’s ages away!
Jade + Anna: Okay lets go XDDD!
So we’re walking along, Evelyn complaining she had to pee X] and by now there were only about 20 people walking with us. We saw the school captain Gopi and we all thought, well if he’s there, then we can’t get lost! He’ll take care of us!…but next thing we know, he’s hopped into a shiny silver car and off on his way T.T !!!!!!
We then met up with Sam, Louyen, Thiffany and Jesscyndaaa yeaa who decided to follow Coleman cause he seemed to know the way. Me and Evelyn get really excited cause well we’d never been this way before and the houses we were passing were sooo gorgeous and grand and sooo coollll. There was one that looked like 4 boxes stacked artistically on top of each other and another one that looked like a fancy schpants office building! Even one with large brass gates that you see in movies~~~~~~~wahhhhh. Then we passed this bridge and there was a river down below and wowww it just looked really beautiful in the afternoon and not for the first time I wished I didn’t have a stupid VGA camera on my phone ==”. We came to this oval park place which looked like the perfect place to have a picnic, especially if you were to sit under the big willowy branches *sigh*.
However, after another 5 minutes had passed and the railway station was still nowhere in sight so Evelyn called for her mother to pick her up and she offered me a lift, but I decided to stick it out with the rest of my friends…so Anna and Jade (lazy buggers!) took the offer and went to catch a lift with Evelyn. Then afterwards, Louyen went left our group and took a turn to her house…hope she’s okay, I did say the suburb looked a bit dodgy.
By now, there were only 5 people left. Sam, Jesscynda, Thiffany, Coleman and myself and we were getting tired but our spirits were still high. The big expensive houses were already far behind and by now the houses we were going past were quaint and ‘rustic’. Haha, but no the houses were really cozy looking, with the clean kept gardens, white picket fence, pebble tiles, windchimes and crawling vines…
So we’d been walking for 30 minutes now…25 minutes longer than Coleman promised ==”. And at this point, I pointed out that the five of us were kind of like the Spice Girls…uhmm only in the way that there were five of us. So this led to us singing in the loudest most off tune voice, disturbing all the neighbours and aggravating all the dogs (or maybe they just wanted to join in with us XD)
“TelL mE wHat yOu waNt, WhaT yoU reAlLy rEalLy waNt, I WanNa wAnNa wanNa WAnna wANna…!!!!!!”
But we soon decided to change to
“Loveeeeeee shack it’s a little ol’ place where we cannn get togetherrrrrrrrr! love shack baby-eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!! Love shack baby~.”
And other favourites like ‘Life is a highway’ and that One Tree Hill theme song with that singing about how he doesn’t wanna be anyone other than himself ^_^…before rocking into the best song on the face of the planetttt!!!!!

Lahhhh~gosh our school song sucks, it doesn’t even rhyme well bleh x].
We’ll by this time, the sun was really beating down and we reached a gas depot…with air conditioning and SLURPEESS!!!! So, after some of us had a toilet break hehe, we continued back on our adventure, slurpee in hand. Weeeeelll, we jaywalked cross this busy street OMGGGGoshhh ecxiting!!!…walking coolly of course, strutting our stuff *_*. So finally, after over 45 minutes of walking (damnnn you coleman), and a stopover at 7eleven yea`y…we finally heard the loud din of the train driving along the tracks…
WAIT…train sound?…that’s my TRAIN!!!!
Soooo….we ran for our lives across the road, down the tunnel and up the stairs gahhhh, we must’ve looked so daggy with our slurpees and heavy schoolbags just running lopsidedly to the train >.<! But as me, Sam, Jesscynda and Thiffany (Coleman left after showing us the train station…THANK YOUUUU!) sat in the cool carriage of the train, casually drinking our slurpees…wowww that was so fun!!!
Let’s do it again some time XDDDD!!!!
